The Museum opened on October 22, 1996. Located near the Museum is the site where the fossil of a Yabe’s Giant Fallow Deer(Sinomegaceros yabei) was discovered in 1797. The permanent exhibition of the Museum-comprising five sections-includes many specimens, as well as exhibits with which visitors can interact.
